The purpose of the video game Doodle Jump is to keep the four-legged creature known as “The Doodler” from falling off an endless series of levels. The left-hand edge of the playing field curves around to meet the right-hand edge.
Move from left to right in order to reach the platforms in Doodle Jump. Use the left mouse button to fire. The game can be played endlessly; therefore, to obtain the greatest score, you must remain in the air for as long as possible.
Doodles are simple drawings that may have a literal, representational purpose or consist of random, abstract lines and forms. Typically, they are formed without lifting the drawing instrument from the page, in which case they are referred to as scribbles. Doodles may have symbolic significance, or they may consist of random, abstract lines and shapes.
The Doodler, or more specifically a horizontally scrolling list of Doodlers, can be seen at the very bottom of the screen. The list is numbered from one to eight, representing the eight available levels in Doodle Jump 2; each level has its own introductory screen and monsters that writhe.
